I haven’t ridden since November (wasn’t even a real ride to be honest) and my last ride before that was in early October. Vastly different than my mileage/riding going into it last year.

 

Helping the wife with her garden. I think this is also known as "enabling."

 

Ended up in the walk-in this morning. On some good meds and I got the “drank” for my cough. I might ride my bike again, we shall see.

Well since I'm on vacation I can post here for yesterday and today and blame it on the rain. I've since come down with a cold so if I post here for the rest of the week I'm going to be very upset.

 

Sick on your vacation?! Major bummer!

Being sick on your time off is a terrible thing. While we were in Havasu after Christmas, my first day there was spent laying down with a pillow over my head while I was dealing with a damned migraine.

 

Not to mention when I face planted on Sunday I sprained or pulled something in my elbow as well. I had limited movement yesterday. Thankfully it has loosened up enough to where I can reach the handlebars. Hopefully tomorrow I will wake up 100%. I heal like that.

 

4 more weeks to be exact!

I was gonna ask the same thing but not a facial impression but rather a new rut caused by his face plant

 

Well there is neither as my face hit a big rock and now all that's left is a pile of sand.

My parents are getting up there in years and needed some help moving to North Carolina where they will live a little closer to one of my sisters...

Tuesday - fly to Houston and then Tampa
Wednesday - help them pack
Thursday - movers come and I make sure everything gets on the truck... and I start driving one of my parents' cars north. Make it into Georgia before I crash for the night.
Friday - drive through Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina... arrive at destination outside Raleigh.
Saturday - at 1:15 AM PST wake up to catch my flight back to Cali. Arrive at LAX @ 9:25 AM.
Sunday... I'll be climbing Harding to shake out the "kinks"

 

I was at the Huntington Library in San Marino with the wife and parents-in-law. I stole more than one longing look at the San Gabriels, since they're right there. Is it wrong that I thought what I could have been riding???
