Hey all...

PBR here...back in the mix after what turned out to be a very long depature. So long in fact that I literally tried getting on SoCalTrailriders the other day and realized that those days were long gone as well. Thanks to Herzalot for pointing me in the new direction.

Anyway, back in the sport and back into the mix, so I will be posting and getting back into the swing of things, hopefully catching up with some old friends and making some new ones.

Buying the new ride tomorrow...going with Yeti again. I'm nothing if not brand loyal. Looking forward to getting back out on the trails soon. Going to take me awhile to get back into riding shape and conditioning. Mustard runs here I come.

No shortage of rides or people to ride with on here and seems like you already know the most prolific poster on the site. Hopefully I'll see you out in the dirt sometime.

 

Looking forward to it my friend. Going to take me awhile to get back into the riding shape I once was. And yeah..that prolific poster was the one who introduced me to the sport going back to 2009. My MTB mentor so to speak.

Been away too long. Certainly looking forward to getting back out there. Going to have to hit Whiting repeatedly for awhile. I used to gauge my conditioning by Mustard. Once I was able to ride up Mustard without stopping, I new I was in decent shape. Meanwhile ole herz would go up two three times while I was on my way up the first time around. lol.

Yes, but it was more of a self-imposed exile. He returned to IMTB for a moment or two recently after we attended the LCF trails meeting.

As for our newest recruit to this zany farm, well - we have stories and stories and stories... Broken elbow, forgotten shoes, buried fork, rising sun, Ellsworth shenanigans, jimmied brakes, cracked tibias, and the chain whip. Always the chain whip....

@Paul Schmidt is a phenomenal writer with a great sense of humor. I hope he makes good on his bicycle purchase, his return to the trails and his promise (or threat) of joining our IMTB zoo.
