Haines Canyon/Blue Bug Wednesday 03-16

Meeting at the corner of Haines Canyon Ave and Apperson St in Tujunga at 9:45

Come out and ride with Cisco, Scott and myself. Will ride up to Mt Lukens via Haines Cyn. Half way back down we will jump on the Blue Bug single track and hit the extra fun lower section before heading back to the cars.

The ride is about 12 miles with 3300 ft elevation. Mt Lukens is the highest point in the city of Los Angeles at 5075 ft

Oh yeah! It was a good one. Luis, Scott, Cisco, and me. Excellent weather and conditions.
5.7 miles up Haines, close to 3000ft climb right there...but Blue Bug was worth it all
So much fun on this underated trail.

Great ride today w the fellas, Ross, Luis and Scott! Thanks dudes for showin me this new trail. I was not at my strongest today on the climb but I made it to Lukens, yes! I also got my pic taken w the Blue Bug so I feel like I have been officially initiated in the "Blue Bug" fraternity!

The single track down was well worth it and the last section after blue bug back to the cars was my favorite.
