Oh yeah, almost was able to make a viral video too. You know where the kangaroo or wildebeest or Yeti jumps onto the trail and takes out the MTB'r?
We had a big ass deer cut right in front of us as we were traversing along some shaded ST. He was in full 4x4 mode , hauling ass DH. Very impressive!

Yesss! That darn thing was running down a steep hillside at full throttle. Scared the crap out of me because I was right on @scottay's 6 and he suddenly stopped and shouted "DEER!"

And @Luis' Castaic taco stop afterward was a great choice.

Speaking of deer, we haven't ridden five deer trail in a while. Probably really overgrown right now. I don't remember if there was any fire activity there lately.

The actual 5Deer Trail is probably not good. No fires tho. But the SOT is probably great. Add in the section on the other side of Bokay would make a nice ride....
