G.E. Final Acsent

A request for the raw footage for the Golden Eagle Final Ascent...
G.E. Is already awesome, but the final ascent is just icing on the cake!

The goal was to capture UPSed flying down the last section, but in all fairness I know that trail "better" then the back of my hand (apparently NOT well enough to get the KOM, Hah Hah!)

@UPSed you gave him way too big of a head start. I figured out today that if I start about 1/4" off his rear tire I can still see him at the bottom of the trail.

 

I'm bummed I didn't get to give Mikie a run for his money on the final plunge.

He goes really fast uphill.

 

Funny.....It didn't seem like it took that long to come down that last section. Felt like it was over in a matter of minutes.

What's our hurry??? Ha hah! Well the pursuit of Life, Liberty, and the K.O.M. domination of STRAVA, of course... sheesh!

Oh, and make no mistake. @UPSed , rocks downhill descents... I just know the rhythm of G.E. better than most. If he knew G.E. like FallingStar, I'm sure I would be in trouble...maybe.

...and I can't make Sunday, but Saturday is a strong possibility??? (Even Friday)

 

Great - now that I know I can ride tomorrow it's too late to set this up for a Friday GE. Dang.

I am definitely riding G.E. Saturday Extended Version, maybe even more miles if I'm up to it. But it's a "Get Prepped for Kokopelli" ride for me. So if you are coming up to hammer the climbs you will be alone ... I HAVE to put in the slower big miles. Hours in the saddle... Looks like the weather is going to be perfect.
