Forum Software Upgrade

All,
imtbtrails is going to do a Forum Software Upgrade tonight.
These always scare me.
But they are necessary to keep our data safe and secure.
As well, some features may temporarily be disabled once it comes back online due to being "add-ons" that may not match or readily configure to the new upgrade.
The goal would be to get those back online as soon as possible as well.

There is never a good time to do these...
If imtbtrails crashes and dies a horrible death, know I love you all, ha hah.
It means one of two things:
1) I'm over dramatic.
2) I suck at software upgrades

I did some tweaks per AndyB's suggestion.
I have noticed that it is working better for me. How about you?

 

as long as the official fullerton loop forum works... it's all good.

 

I think it is working better. I did notice the photos are appearing again without logging in.

That was one of AndyB's suggestions. It often screws up the image attachments for the Members so I removed the Guest Restriction on Pics and I just have to bite the bullet and up our Server HP.

 

Don't know. At this point MTBR is looking good. Plus they support Tapatalk.

 

Screw it.....I'm going back to STr.

They never have software issues over there.

 

98% of my iMTBtrails.com-ing occurs on an iPhone, and I do not notice any of the issues described in this thread.

I've tried that previously to no avail. It doesn't fix the broken link issue today, either. Bummer...

 

I did Sir AndyB. I personally still have about 65% broken Link Images. Even this moment with your post:

 

Just a suggestion... Create a new user account on your computer and log into the site from it. The new user account won't have all of your internet usage baggage and settings, and will tell you if the issue is definitely on your browser's end.

I upgraded to Windows 10 yesterday... if you can call all the problems I am encountering an upgrade! But imbtrails continues to putt along without a hitch. A veritable paradigm of virtual perfection, port in the storm... A pox on Microsoft.
