My wife's job takes her to England a few times a year. We decided to tack on an extra week to her stay and I flew out to meet her. We try to get in a cycling related activity whenever we travel. For this trip we planned a three day cycling tour of the Cotswolds. The Cotswolds is a very large natural preserve about 1.5 hours by train from London. We used a local tour company to rent the bikes and plan our accommodations and routes. Today was day 1. We got rained on a bit, but other than that it was a great day. We booked a self guided tour, but our guide decided to join us today for a guided tour. The next two days will be self guided using Garmin routes. We planned relatively short routes as we will be stopping frequently to take pictures and check out the sights as we pass through villages. Today was 29 miles and 1,700 feet. Below are a few pics.
