Cannell plunge Sunday October 4

Going to go do the plunge with my LBS riding buddies. Sunday October 4.
Our group size so far, is about 10 riders. The pace will be kinda brisk I predict. We will only stop to regroup when needed. Our official lunch stop is at the cabin, just before the plunge.

Good thought, this ride. I'd love to do it, but not with a pace line.

 

Cannell turned out to be a super duper epic ride. Hopefully I can gather a couple of pictures from all the riders that came out to experience it (Since I forgot my phone in the car).
Lets just say there was Snow, thunder and lightning, hail, rain, slush and mud.
The plunge itself, becomes a mini raging river, and the lower section becomes a slippery muddy mess. With all the riders we had, there was only one broken chain.
Thanks the Berni, Burt, and Cisco who came out to ride with me and the Universal Cycles crew.

 

Memorable group ride. Had my phone, but i couldnt get my frozen fingers to work the cam. I'll have to hit it again some warm and dry time.

By the way, if anyone sees a SPD shoe near the Castaic sports complex, please let me know.
