And then the morons in this state did it AGAIN!!! Traffic in SoCal is like nowhere else in the country, except maybe NYC where they're equally idiotic.

I've been a SoCal resident since 1962, with short stints in other places. People are going to keep coming here. I'm leaving when I retire, but I'm just one person. The fact that you have greater emigration by those who pay the freight than immigration by those who take the freight should be telling, but few listen.

Traffic is worse because Jerry Brown and our idiot legislature went contrary to Edmund G. Brown Sr., who was an infrastructure maven. Our current moron said no more freeways. So said freeways and other infrastructure were not built. People came anyway.

Oh well, in a few years it won't be my problem anyway. Enjoy the death spiral down the toilet bowl.

In other news. Flying my drone over Silver lake near June Mtn. telemetry said 8min to fly 2min later it went into critical battery mode meaning it was almost dead. At this point the drone takes over and lands right where it's at. You guessed it splash down. No more drone. Booooo

Unfortunately I live in downtown Los Angeles, Art District. My warehouse is located a mile from Staples Center. With all the new high end hotel style apartments, the traffic is bad. They added so many bike lanes in DTLA, that some of the streets are one lane. During rush hour, it would take close to 1 hour to travel 4 miles. Easier and faster to travel by Metro subway or by bike. Moving to Silver Lake in Jan, when my town house finishes getting built.

 

I saw a guy riding one of these yesterday. I didn't even know that such a thing existed but when I saw him climbing a steep driveway on it, I had to find out what it was because I was shocked to see that it was motorized.
