I've seen AC/DC Live .... 1981 For Those About to Rock

And though at the time I would not have been caught dead listening to a Bee Gees album I have matured... talk about lightning in a bottle ..that album...there is some serious beat underneath Staying Alive...

Mashup also shows that 4 beat rock .. is 4 beat rock...

 

...the chord progression on the AC/DC song was altered to match the BeeGees tune... but still very clever.

 

I too have seen AC/DC live, in recent years. They were excellent!

And I've dug the Bee Gees and some other disco stuff since it started. Saturday Night Fever sound track was a fun one!

I can see that one day I'll walk into a spin class, and this thing will be playing (trying to please multiple crowed).

 

Just because they're both Aussie doesn't mean they go together. All novelty, no groove...pause button, stat

I was taught to time my CPR compressions to "Stayin' Alive." But in this case, maybe not.

 

For me I'm labeling it clever.
Big guys with girl voices on one side.
Driving edgy hard rock guitar a plus but rarely liked the lyrics of AC/DC.
So not a big fan of either group.
Still... pretty good mix job.
