For the record, I'm 100% okay with the head badge, mainly because it has one! Pet peeve of mine is bikes being sold that only have a decal instead of a proper head badge. Put something up there, anything and I'm fine with it. Yeti and Moots have the best ones AFAIK, but Ibis is okay, and the S.C. industrial minimalism is fine.

A proper head badge should be required of any bike costing more than $99.95. It's what America was built on!

 

This is true.....I kinda like the industrial look of the square head badge. It is a lot better than the old decals that they used to have. Plus it is easy to clean.

 

This just does not do a thing for me...

Remember....from your point of view, the head badge doesn't matter...it's not like you can see it when you are doing what you are supposed to be doing.....riding it, no looking at it.

They used to just slap a decal on them.....the SC Bike guy:

 

You know... The only time you'll see the head badge while riding is if you go ass over tea kettle.

I actually like the rectangle better than the "S." That "S" always reminded me of the other big "S" company and their Devil's Cleft trademark.
