  1. Daughter is turning 6
The 20"+ Specialized "rip rock" with 7 speed and disc braks for $460 is PERFECT!!!

But I hate the BIG S!!!

    What else is there?

I know Trek makes some kids bikes so check their site out if the T is better than the S for ya...

Awesome on you for putting thought into this!

I recommend the HARO Flightline 20. Its lighter than the Big S and cheaper.

  5. Criteria= Pink, purple or aqua..... If you have girls you know

Oh I do know. I'm about to get my son a 24" bike and then pass the 20" to my daughter. She is adamant about pink tiger stripes, so I ordered some vinyl strips to cover the entire bike.

  10. I think I am deadset on 20" and disc for her,
I will also need a 24" soon also for the 9 year old.

Not sure what your price range is, but when I was looking these were towards the top of the list:

#1 https://spawncycles.com/savage-1.0-20 ( It's rigid, but they have another model with front suspension for $300 more).

Though, for what it's worth, I ended up picking up a micro bmx and it seems to be working out well so far.
