12 Hours of Temecula- January 2016

Nothing too exciting... Just an overview of the course. A little over 5 minutes long. It was rough, in a fun way, on the single speed.

As Strandleper and others have said, the vibe out there is really cool. It is a well run event, with a low key party atmosphere... Everyone seems overly polite, and it's just a lot of fun.

 

ok.....so I am not so bummed that I missed it. Maybe it would have different had i ridden it.

I can see where it can wear you down....and you didn't even include the Bridges climb.

 

Nice work FaustieFreeze! I like the fact that you didn't put any music to that video. I enjoy the sound of nature along with a freewheels buzz.

 

My videos will be music free... At least until my kid shows me how to add sound! Today he showed me how to add text over the video. Baby steps...

Looks like the weather and trails were amazing! Everyone must have been pretty spaced out, so almost like a time-trial feel to it.

 

I think you end up in certain pockets.....sometimes it seems like everyone is at the same point of the course at the same time....other times it seems as though you are the only one on the course. The former while the 6hr race is still going, the later after the 6hr ends.

 

Great job Faust !! That is a fun course ..

I felt your pain on those climbs being on the SS. I salute you ...

We should plan a SS Ride especially since mike pulled his out.
