Rats! Sorry Bernie! I found out about the closure last week but didn't even think you might come up Hwy 2. That is the scenic route but I figured you'd take the 14 to the 138. Looks like Cal Trans is taking their sweet time fixing it!o_O

Brett, Thanks for that. I always go to Jenson first for everything. I did a search and could not find it. I wonder if the drive side shell bearings are there too and just buried.

Edit: Jenson does not appear to carry hub bearings.

Note: I did however cobble a rear wheel together to get a spin in for the weekend...

Uncle Rossage recommends keeping a second wheelset ready for duty to prevent downtime.
Doesn't have to be all bling bling, just something that works.
Keep a decent set of old tires on there, put the same cogset and disc on there, and you should be good to go with a minimum of adjustment should your primary wheels need work.
    ;)

Please direct your shortage of wheels to "Shop talk".
@Maddog I camped in Chilao friday night thats why I was traveling on Hwy 2. My plan was to camp around WW saturday but had to go to plan B. Camped in Horse flats and rode Chilao loop with the newly opened Vetter trail.

We took no pictures just rode and shot the S. Small right up like Scan said. This route is good.

Slo-mo and I both wrote up reports in the "I rode my bike today" thread. Can't you keep up with your own site:rolleyes:???? Doing Lip first is a nice alternative especially when it's hot. It almost eliminates doing Table Mountain or Blue Ridge though unless you want to do a lot more climbing or come up with some creative adjustments:sneaky:! You're gonna love our route adjustment after we looped Leprechaun:thumbsup:!
