    Lilly is a dream dog. I gave up when I realized to my dog chasing my bike is not nearly as rewarding as catching a lizard.

    I smiled too. And sad. My little Sandy (terrier mix/rescue dog), and I would ride the Floop on non busy days.. She would follow me and run for about 30 minutes, then tell me she was ready to go home... I would carry her back. She loved being on the trails like Lily, terriers can run! But she liked the ride home even more..
    After 10 years though she was slowing down... then one day, the coyotes got her in my front yard... I ran out and the two coyotes dropped her... She was still breathing but two puncture marks on her sides were turning red... her breathing stopped as I talked to her and comfortable her... "its okay sandy.. its okay..." She died in my arms....

    I'm really sorry to hear that. She had a great life, and that's the main thing. No better legacy for your pet than that.
