    Ride Name: Mini Death March with a Motorway Finish
    When: Saturday, May 12
    Time: 7:00
    Where: Santa Anas
    Ride Description or Details:
    Fire road up, Fire road down, single track up, single track down.
    ~~~~~ Optional Details ~~~~~
    Meet Location: Peltzer Pines Christmas Tree Farm on Black Star Canyon Road
    Skill Level: Intermediate
    Ride Pace: Death March
    Type of Ride: Loop
    Rider Limit: X
    Anticipated Mileage: 37
    Elevation Gain: 6400
    Ride Duration: Good question.
    Previous Ride Reports: Nope.
    Possible Bail-Outs: The only bailout is to not drop into Corona. It's a long Uber to get back to Orange County.
    Facilities: Bushes. Water at the bottom of Skyline.
    Food/water suggestions: It's supposed to be in the mid 60s. I'll probably run two bottles and refill at the base of Skyline, before the climb back to Main Divide and Motorway.
    Just in case anyone wants to join... Temperature shouldn't be a factor, I hope.
    Not fast.
    Death March usually entails distance and elevation....pace is usually irrelevant.
    I can confirm it is a march and I doubt you will die. When I joined them a couple of months ago I was pleasantly surprised with the pace.
    I’m good with all paces I just wanted to know if it was a SS speed fest. If so I’ll bring a sandwich for all my alone time in the back. :)
    June 9th or the 16th. Jennifer and I may make a weekend out of it.
    And no I don't believe she would be interested in a death march.
    My in-laws will be in town then. Let's make it a really long one.
    Counting Coup route, but skip Holy Jim and opt for Trabuco? Might need to hide water for that one...
    Sorry I missed this ride. I was out of town. That's my excuse however if I made the ride it would have been the longest ride yet for me...:whistling: What is the phrase? Whistling past the grave yard?
