Gimbal test 1- video

Hit some bumps and rock gardens, stayed smooth....

Fist section aim is pointed up too much I think. Dont wanna see my mug in the shot.

At 1:50 I aimed it down some. Too much maybe, dont wanna see my legs.

At 4:00 there are two rock gardens, bike is bumpy but vid stays smooth. Guess this thing works.

At 4:30 I aimed it up just a tad, looks good?

I know my fades are too long. Any other comments?

Wow that didn't take you long. Seems we were just talking about this. I like it. Sure does smooth out the video(though you were on the 5.5 and not the hardtail). I think I like the lower camera aim. It's kinda fun to see the fork crown and some of the suspension action. Middle was good to. Gives the video a nice depth mounted there being able to see the bars and front wheel. It's gonna make the rockgardens look like freeways though. Trails look fun, I want a tour. Only takes me about 20 minutes to get there...

 

Anytime! I need to check out Fowlers/PigPharm, maybe we can make a big loop..

Are those pebbles flying up during the ridgeline shots? That's a clear camera!

I like the bike in the frame. Cool stuff. TFPU.

 

Mostly mud chunks I think. Been raining here for two days. But yeah, pretty clear in 1080p..

I think it looked great from the start and the fades were fine. Hard to watch a video nowadays w/o a gimbal.
