I'm pretty sure it's a 20 oz...but it could be 24. I don't remember. But yes, 2 200-calorie packets in one bottle. When both were naked on the return trip it was fine.

    Short bottle or tall bottle?

3 scoops is where I max out on a tall bottle.

Tall bottle. The one on the downtube. I kept plain water in the smaller one.

For my 140.6 I used one bottle with about 1000 calories, I would sip it throughout the race. The other two were straight water.

    I gots some bikes.
I’ll go as much as 4 scoops, but then I treat it as 2 bottles and will usually take a sip of plain water after each Tailwind sip. Sounds like Sidewalk’s strategy, but on a smaller scale.

Usually the strategy when we’re climbing for a couple hours right out of the gate...

So my next objective, obviously, is to do a humongous dirt ride with the Tailwind.

When I can nail down a date, it will probably be park at end of Silverado, up B*, down Motorway, up MS, down Harding, back to start at the FS gate. For starters.

The new norm? Hope not. Poor people. Poor girls, most boys are fat.

Enjoy your energy drink / bar and remember. It will probably not harm you if you burn more calories than you - - -

Oh dear, that brought back a terrible memory of eating slightly off three bean salad in a share house in my younger days.

I'll raise your three bean with a pastor burrito and diet pepsi. My grown children still recount and give me grief from days gone by in their youth.

Should have gone with the full strength Pepsi for aromatic enhancement.

    You say that, but....

The fridge had two food items, some three bean mix and a stale swiss jam roll thing. I ate the beans, my housemate ate the swiss roll.

We got in to my cool red volvo sedan (well, we thought it was cool!) and went to visit a share house that contained young ladies. We made it half way of the 10 minute drive.

Wondering if any of you tailwind pounders are hypoglycemic? If so does this Tailwind regulate or balance your blood sugar without using real food?
Just yesterday I should have been on the ground in pain with only riding 6 To 10 miles per week, did 20 miles and somewhere around 4,000 ft. That should have done me in! I used half a bottle of beet juce, half a bottle of coconut water, and one scoop of an electrolyte mix, then filled the rest with water. Mixed well together and tasted good , and kept me good! I did eat some whole food because I would be in a comatose state if I didn’t.
